OUR SOLAR SYSTEM MAY HAVE CAPTURED ‘ALIEN’ COMETS

Following the exploration of the first 2 interstellar objects, Hands and Walter Dehnen of the College of Munich used computer system simulations to study how interstellar objects could be caught by our solar system.

"The simulations took 2 days in total using about 70 video cards, so approximately 140 days if we had just used one card and a lot, a lot longer if we had used a typical desktop cpu."
